well folks: i had my first follow-up visit, and things are not as good as i was hoping.

essentially, using diet and exercise to try and reverse my clogged arteries is okay for 15 areas which are 50% or less clogged, by 2 of the points are 80% occluded ... and must be treated in a matter of months, or i face death inside a year ... so, i have some time, but not as i hoped.

the two bad occlusions art each at the intersections of main branches ... and either of them would likely kill me if they close up.. the doctor was impressed with my diet changes, lifestyle adjustments, and weight loss and level of recovery ... but the recovery is limited, in that i still have some strong angina with mild exercise, strongly suggesting my heart does not get enough blood when i exercise, and then when i eat a large meal, the stomach uses enough blood flow, that the heart gets starved and i go into serious angina ... soooo ... i am ordered to limit exercise and eat 6 to 8 tiny meals a day ... and i am even getting a handicap sign for my car ... yikes!

Also if you have access to recent medical journals, look for information on all the new medical advances & tecnologies.

I've been doing research on broken bones (long story) and I have found out that the "Bone" Dr. (pun inteneded) should have operated on my broken arm but didn't.

It took me 5 months to dig up the strenght to look up the information. You might want a friend to help you out. The journals are somewhat difficult to read. I had to read the articles 2 or 3 times to fully grasp the medical terms and concepts.

All my research has paid off. I'm actually getting a free opinion from a Dr. from Harvard. I e-mailed him with the information in my research and he was pretty impressed. There are good people out there that will help if only asked.

That is so funny D8TA! You get a 5 for being original & the first one to post a decal.

I'm still working on my decal. (I can't even draw stick people according to my 9 year old daughter.)

Come on everybody. Let's have some fun creating decals. Decals will help get the message across to all those who weren't fortunate enough to see or hear about Dateline, Panorama or don't have access to the internet.

Let's protect the innocent children from JW Pedophiles.

Minors and Liability?

research has shown that one getting bathtized is entering a contractual agreement to be bound by the organization rules and governance.

such rules would include but are not limited to shunning and being dis-fellowshipped.

so i ask the community is a person who was bathtized as a minor who is now an adult liable for or bound by the rules of the organization?

Welcome to the site. You have a very intellingent question.

Many newbie's have asked the same question. Try doing a search under Minors, baptism or contract. I'm sure that you'll get lots of info.

Dutchie also has good information. She's either finishing law school or about to take the bar exam. The best thing that you could do is speak to a Contracts Attorney from or in the state that you where baptized in. Most attorneys don't charge for the first consultation.

I was able to get "incredible" information from a contracts lawyer for free. In my situation, all I want is for the contract to be null and void. I have no interest in suing anyone for money or profit of any kind. Yet, I'll have to wait until I have finished my graduate degree and I'm financially stable to pay all the attorney's fees for justice and peace of mind.

Hi everyone this is Cappucino OC,

A while back there was a thread on decals. I'm not sure if anyone is printing any. How about if we have a competition for the best 3 decals. We can all participate by rating them from 1-5. Five being the best.

Are there any artists out there? Ideas? I can't draw.

But, I though of a decal that borrows from a UK decal. The decal could say NO Jehovah Witness Pedophiles. The background could be a couple going door to door.

In addition, adding the silentlamb website plus a little lamb icon would force people to make a connection between JW's pedophiles, innocent children and Silent Lambs.

The great majority of people know who are JW's. If you attach pedophiles to it, it will make people curious especially those who are not aware that they protect their pedophiles over innocent children.

Maybe Bill Bowen could get a company to print these. I would definatley put them on my vehicle.

I'll pretend that I'm an artist and start drawing. I'll have to have a friend scan it for me because I don't own one.

my friend said it was on the news, and dubs were being interviewed.

Tumwater building destroyed by blaze

TUMWATER -- Fire destroyed the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Tumwater Hill on Thursday night.

Members of the congregation, who gathered to watch the blaze, promised to build anew.

Firefighters from the Tumwater and Olympia fire departments were called to the blaze at 1199 North Ninth Ave. S.W. at 8:44 p.m.

It was extinguished shortly after 11 p.m.

The firefighters arrived to find the one-story Kingdom Hall's attic engulfed in flames. A narrow gray plume of smoke billowed 150 feet above the orange core of flames.

Within 10 minutes, an offensive by 25 firefighters to salvage the building became a defensive retreat when the roof began to collapse.

No one was injured, Tumwater Fire Department Chief Richard Ridgeway said.

'Probably total loss'

"At this point, it's probably a total loss," Ridgeway said shortly after 10:30, as flames began to give way to the dense, low smoke of a dying fire.

One witness told officials he saw a couch on fire at the building's north end before firefighters arrived, Ridgeway said.

"We don't have any reason to believe the fire is suspicious at this point," the chief cautioned.

Many of the more than 250 members of the congregation gathered at the scene.

Two couches that had been mysteriously placed near the church's north wall on Monday were the subject of somber conversations.

Congregation member Sheri Seibold and others quietly wondered if the blaze had been intentionally set.

"It was really unnecessary," she said, choking back tears. "We just keep to ourselves in the community. That's all we do."

'I laid shingles'

As the building burned to its end in a few hours, Seibold's husband, Gene, remarked that members of the faith had built the wood-frame building in 24 hours.

"I laid shingles and she hammered," Gene Seibold said.

"My kids were raised in that hall," his wife said, giving in to her tears.

"We'll build again. We'll build again," could be heard a few feet away.

Bethelite speakers get Free rooms w/ hot tub

i was just given the new book from the convention by a neighbor of mine and i was remembering that when i was in high school 85-89, we met the bethelite brother who was giving the special talk at our district assembly.

most of the families from my congregation commuted, 20 miles, to the assembly in fresno, ca.

a local elder stayed with his family in the hotel across the selland arena, convention.

I was just given the new book from the convention by a neighbor of mine and I was remembering that when I was in High School 85-89, we met the bethelite brother who was giving the special talk at our district assembly.

Most of the families from my congregation commuted, 20 miles, to the assembly in Fresno, CA. A local elder stayed with his family in the Hotel across the Selland Arena, Convention.

We where invited by his family to go swimming. I remember meeting the "older" brother from Bethel. I also remember that a couple of the young brothers from my congregation where invited by the bethelite to his suite. In his room they where able to jump into the hot tub.

I was just a naive latin girl & I remember asking the young brothers, how could a bethelite afford a suite with a hot tub? The bro's told me that the WTS received a complementary suite for the bethelites who traveled to give special talks.

My friends would have told us if the "bethelite" would have tried something on them. But now I'm wondering why the BETHELITE only invited the young brothers & not their parents their sisters, or kids.
